Non-alcoholic winery Jøyus pairs with Joanne Trattoria NYC to launch four award-winning selections on December 7th.

NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jessica Selander, founder of Jøyus, a 100% sober and woman-owned award-winning non-alcoholic winery, and Joseph Germanotta, founder of the world-famous Joanne Trattoria collaborate to present the first ever non-alcoholic wine flight.

Sobriety has played a significant part in both Selander and Germanotta's lives. Joanne's restaurant initially received notoriety as being opened by Lady Gaga's parents, Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta, in 2012. Joseph has been sober for three years and says the establishment has a non-alcoholic following that is eager for more selections. Several bartenders at Joanne's are also part of the sober community.

Jøyus Founder Jess Selander, who has been sober for 18 years, says she missed the taste of wine and was tired of subpar substitutions at parties and gatherings designed around drinking. This inspired her to open her Seattle-based winery, the first and only run by a sober woman in the U.S. to exclusively produce non-alcoholic varietals like rosé, cabernet sauvignon, sparkling rosé and sparkling wine. Jøyus utilizes the latest technology to remove the alcohol while preserving the delicate flavors of the wine.
